The train ride from Vallorcine to beautiful Chamonix takes about half an hour. Chamonix is an attractive ski town which is certainly worth visiting during your holiday! Chamonix is also highly recommended outside the winter season. The train stops in a number of small, friendly villages, like Le Buet, Argentière and Les Praz, where you can also visit some spectacular sights, such as Mer de Glace. From these villages, you can also visit several ski areas in the winter.
