On holiday with the whole family

There are things for the entire family to do at Dormio Resort Eifeler Tor. The resort has extensive facilities for young and old. For example, fresh rolls can be purchased at the supermarket, dining out can be done at the Italian restaurant Casa Ruscello, local beer can be tasted at the Heimbacher Brauhaus or enjoy a delicious snack at Der Turm snack bar. The resort has both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a playground and the children can play with our friendly mascot Mio in the Mio Kids Club. For teenagers we have put together a special Fun & Active programme and during the summer holidays we also organize various activities for adults.

There are many bike rides in the Eifel to choose from. The Eifel has countless, very well-designed cycle paths. The bike rides along the rivers in the Eifel are particularly ideal for families with children. There are plenty of spots along these cycling routes to rest for a while or have a picnic in the countryside. Along the way, stop to visit a castle, a museum, spot wild boar or take a refreshing dip in a lake. All of these routes are not too long, do not have very steep inclines and have interesting things for the children to do along the routes.

During the summer months, after an active day outdoors, you can take a refreshing dive into the outdoor swimming pool at the resort. Enjoy the sunshine and a delicious ice cream on a lounger by the swimming pool. There is a breathtaking view of the Rur valley from your lounger.
