On a stone’s throw from our resort you will find the tram stop from where the tram follows a beautiful route along the coast to Alicante via San Juan and Muchavista. In just 25 minutes you will arrive on the friendly Plaza de los Luceros. There is plenty to do in this vibrant city. It is a great place for shopping, partying and visiting beautiful sights. Enjoy a great walk along the harbour and the beautiful Explanada de España boulevard, with its tall palm trees!
Admire El Castillo de Santa Bárbara
At the top of Mount Benacantil, one of the most iconic spots in Alicante, you will find El Castillo de Santa Bárbara. This Arab castle was built in the 9th century and was used as a prison during the Civil War. You can walk to the top or take the lift to admire the castle.

Go to the Bonfires of St John
Each year in June, a festival takes place in Alicante, and the city has the typical smell of gunpowder. The Bonfires of St John is one of the most important annual events in Alicante. The city is decorated in different colours and the streets are full of large figures which are later burnt. The Bonfires of St John is a unique event which is not be missed!
