A unique feature of Golf du Touquet is that it has hosted the prestigious Open de France golf tournament on both 18-hole courses on several occasions. La Mer is one of the most popular links courses in continental Europe and offers a breathtaking mix of dunes with tree-lined hills and bunkers. The Harry Colt-designed course is considered one of the most difficult golf courses in northern France where you are challenged by the wind. Furthermore, La Forêt is a more flat golf course in the ancient pine forest for the beginning to experienced golfer, where you experience less wind. Are you a novice golfer? Then Le Manoir, located in the pine forest, is a good course to practise in the beautiful countryside.

The course is inspired by the typical Scottish and Irish links courses with various scrublands. During your golf game, you will be challenged by the wind, the hilly course and a wetland nature reserve. The golf course has been shaped over the years by the wind and the two World Wars. You can still come across some reminders from the war, such as some ruins and bunkers on the golf course. It is a unique golf course on the edge of the rocks, considered one of the best seaside links courses in France. It is also the only golf course on the Opal Coast with a sea view, where on a clear day you can even admire the white chalk cliffs of England.
